Learning Commons & Library - Finals Countdown & Finals Week icon

Finals Countdown begins Monday, May 4th! To help students de-stress, we've organized a few activities! Please share our event schedule with your students:

  • May 4-15 (Monday - Friday), 8am - 5pm: FREE snacks & de-stressing activities at the library's circulation desk. Snacks are funded by ASUH - Leeward CC. Validated Leeward CC ID required.
  • May 5-7 & May 11-13: Mindful Studying with LCC Mental Health at the Learning Resource Center (LRC), located in the library. Snacks, drinks, and fun activities!
    • May 5 (Tue): 11am - 1pm
    • May 6 (Wed): 10am - 12pm
    • May 7 (Thu): 1:30pm - 4pm
    • May 11-13 (Mon - Wed): 11am - 1pm
  • May 5 & May 12 (Tuesdays), 4:15-5pm: Yoga with Natalie Kahn at the Hale Lehua Dance Studio (DA 108), located next to Kīpuka.
  • May 6 (Wednesday), 10:30am - 1:15pm: Game Day with the International Club and the ESL program in LA 101. Games, snacks, and prizes!
  • Annual Library Survey: Fill out our survey at go.hawaii.edu/oFi for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card! Survey ends Friday, May 8th.

Fall 2025 Finals Countdown and Finals Week Hours: December 1-19. Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Study Hall Hours: December 1-11, Mondays - Fridays, 5-7pm.

This is the last week we'll host study hall at the library! Please encourage your students to take advantage of this opportunity to prepare for their exams.

The tutors and the library staff hosted a lei making workshop in the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Thursday, May 8th. Students learned how to make ti leaf lei and eyelash yarn lei. Mahalo Jordan and Faith, our LRC tutors, for leading the workshop!
