The Learning Resource Center (LRC) and Writing Center will be closed January 11-15. Tentative reopening is planned for the week of January 25. Subject tutoring will be available via the tutor.com online service via MyUH at https://myuh.hawaii.edu.
Until further notice, the Learning Resource Center (LRC) will be open only for remote tutoring Monday through Thursday, 9am-2pm. Please visit the LRC’s website (go.hawaii.edu/AmW) for current information and to schedule tutoring appointments. Come study with us!
All of the Writing Center’s Focused Workshops, including the newest ones focused on reading skills — Building Your Vocabulary and Developing College Reading Skills — continue to be available via Zoom. The Writing Center’s friendly writing consultants continue to be available via Zoom to help with writing assignments, scholarship essays, and college success skills (Laulima, online resources, time management, and other ways to navigate online classes). Although online learning may come with unique challenges, it can be rewarding and productive. Learn the major differences between online and in-person learning as well as key resources and tips to help you complete your online courses successfully.
