Spring Break Tutoring

As you gear up for Spring Break, I am excited to share our Writing Center and Learning Resource Center (LRC) hours.
We will be available for writing and content tutoring assistance via Zoom by appointment only.
Hours of Operation: Monday, 3/14 – Thursday, 3/17 from 10 am – 3 pm; Friday, 3/18 from 11 am – 3 pm
Writing Center
- Make an appointment via Penjiapp through our website: https://www2.leeward.hawaii.edu/writingcenter/
- Assistance with assignments for any Leeward class, including those who are enrolled in Leeward’s 5-week online classes.
Learning Resource Center
- Check Penjiapp for subject-specific tutor availability through our website: http://www2.leeward.hawaii.edu/lrc/
- Students may use this time to get organized, less stressed, and rejuvenated, including those who are enrolled in Leeward’s 5-week online classes.

Library Hours: Effective January 10th
The library will be open Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm. Hours subject to change.
Only the main level of the Learning Commons will open, the upper level will be closed due to collection maintenance in preparation for new shelving.

WRITING CENTER HOURS
Tutoring will be offered in-person, online, and by phone.

Learning Commons & Library Hours
December 20-30: Item Drop off & Pick Up
The Learning Commons & Library will be closed but staff will be available for item drop off and pick up services, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm. If you need assistance, please give us a call at x210 or email us at lcccirc@hawaii.edu

Our hours will be extended during the Finals Countdown period to give students extra time to study and use our resources.

JOIN OUR NEW WORKSHOP!
DE-STRESSING ACTIVITY KITS & STUDY SNACKS
While supplies last: Students using in-person services at the Learning Commons (Library, LRC, & Writing Center) will receive Finals Countdown de-stressing activity kits and study snacks!
- 1 kit per student
- Snacks will be provided daily – 1 snack bundle per student per day.
Supplies for Leeward students are provided by Student Government. Supplies for students from other UH campuses are provided by the Learning Commons & Library. Valid UH ID and Fall 2021 registration required.
EMERGENCY LAPTOPS & INTERNET DEVICES
We still have laptops and internet hotspots for students to check out until the end of the semester! If you know of a student in need, please have them contact Circulation Services (x210 or lcccirc@hawaii.edu).
Leeward CC students (or UH students registered for at least 1 Leeward CC class) may borrow mobile devices and accessories. Early College students are ineligible.
